Anyone use Copic Markers? Are they worth the $$$$

Hello- I was just wondering if anyone uses the copic markers and if you think they are worth the big pricetag....I'm trying to decide if I should invest in a set or just buy a few. I was wondering how long they last and how well they work in your projects... also- what types of projects do you use them for? Just stamps- or other artwork and craft projects... Hi, Just found this board, and wondering if y'all can give a newbie some advice. I've been selling layouts for about a year to earn some extra $. I love to scrapbook and have enjoyed having others buy my layouts. I need some advice. A buyer bought 5 of my BIN layouts on May 20, and still hasn't paid. I've sent her 2 invoices and 5 other emails, and still no payment. She is a Powerseller, and I know she's been on ebay because she has had some auctions close and has bought other stuff during this time. She hasn't even had the courtesy to respond to any of my messages. Should I file a dispute? I don't want to p.o. her and have her give me bad feedback. What would you do? I have a virus/worm in my email that came from who knows where and has attacked my hotmail. It sent a New Shopping Site message out to everyone in my address book and then it deleted my address book. I no longer have your emails. They're gone. But.... Don't send me any emails until I get this thing out of my computer. I am sorry if you got it and the person who accidently sent it to me is probably sorry too. I am still trying to locate it in my messages. Doing a scan right now. These things are no ones fault except for the idiot who created it in the first place. Also there is a new spam going around called TAGGED. Do not click on that or sign up for that. A friend of mine did and she is now on their list for spam. She might even have to change her email. It is possible that this virus came from her emails. I just don't know yet. This infuriates me! I went to my hotmail on MSN and it got in there and somehow posted a reply message in my "vacation" settings too. You would think that MSN would be more on top of things like that. So I changed my password and the settings and hopefully my virus scan will find it. Auuuugggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! If all the hackers would get real jobs the world would be a better place.

Looking for a specific die

My daughter got me started in buying scrapbook dies in Jan of this year I have become obsessed with trying to collect all the green, yellow and red dies. I have asked every where including sizzix. com for a master list. It does not seam to exist. I have started my own from information on ebay listings. I now have to the best of my knowledge all the yellow except the sand/snow mound. I have bid 20.00 $ on it but have been outbid every time. Needing prayers concerning new scrapbook business

A couple of friends and I are in the very very early process of opening a scrapbook store. (praying about it right now.) We live in a town of about 4,500 with many smaller surrounding towns nearby. The nearest scrapbook store from here is 60 miles away. There is a HL and Jo's about 50 miles away. We strongly believe a scrapbook store would thrive here as there are many people in this area who love to scrapbook. We are hoping to be able to go into this debt free. There is a house we are looking at that the owner is asking 65,000, which is a really good deal, because this house is on the corner of two major roads in town. Then we'd need more $$$ for fix ups, and gathering an inventory. We are looking into getting grants to start this business up. We are wanting to make this a Christian Scrapbook Store and sell christian scrapbook supplies as well as other major companies. We decided on a Christian Scrapbook store, because we feel we should keep God in the center of our business. This is totally off the topic of scrapbooking, but since I know a good portion of you on the scrapbooking board I wanted to ask here. I HAD a friend, she isnt an internet acquaintance, I actually know her, she just happens to also sell here. To make a long story short, we had a falling out several weeks ago. At this time, several of my acquaintances (some sellers, some arent) have contacted me via my personal email (which isnt even registered to ebay) as well as a social networking site that I am active on asking me "why" she and I are no longer friends. So I told them. The reason we had the falling out has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with ebay or even our craft, it was very much a personal matter. Now it seems, since she's been made aware that I "talked about her" she is threatening to turn ME into ebay for harassment. Can she do this? Since nothing was EVER said about her anywhere on ebay regarding anything whatsoever to do with ebay? Can she turn me in to this site for harassment just because she is mad at me for confiding in my online friends on my private email? Any advice/answers about this will be much appreciated, I am totally flipping out about this. She has already had one of my listings cancelled when we first had the falling out for using a word in my title I apparently wasnt supposed to use. So I'm unsure as to what ebay will and will not do. BE CAREFUL

Pay Pal does not protect it's sellers. A while back I posted that I was having trouble with a international package. The buyer paid in a timely manner. I shipped it same day through Pay Pal to the UK It had tracking and was attempted to deliver twice. There hasn't been an update in a long time. Pay Pal yanked the funds right out of my account before they even looked into it. Today they ruled against me even though I had proof I mailed it. I am out the product, the price it went for, shipping, fees, and the amount pay pal charged me for the dispute. This is all totaling about $170.00. Who knows she may be home the next time they try to deliver and she'll have the product too. I am not sure what else I could have done to protect myself. Be careful with international sale I guess.

any Cocker or Cocker mix puppies close to Lexington, Kentucky. We actually live in Richmond, KY not too far from Lexington. We just lost our Pepper dog 3 weeks ago and we miss her so much. I would be interested in finding a black or mixed color with black in a Cocker Spaniel or a Cocker spaniel mix. Or maybe even another spaniel of some kind. Pepper was a Cocker/Sheltie/Chow mix (small amount of chow) and she would have been 12 years old this fall. She was very smart and left a big hole in our home. She was full of life and always made her presence known. She was just a great dog. I know you all have so many contacts and I've been around here for a few years on the scrapbooking board, so just thought I'd check with you all first. I'm not interested in paying a lof of money for a pup. Just giving a dog a good home and lot's of love. Thanks for any suggestions you all may have.

Printers/printing and all things fun

(ok, so not all things fun ) I'm looking to get a wide format printer. I would like to be able to print my scrap pages in their 12X12 format. I currently have an 8 year old HP photo printer, which btw I LOVE if i could convert it to wide/large format, i'd do it in a heart beat!!! LOL REALLY!!! At any rate, i belive i paid close to $300 for the printer (no i can't actaully remember, but it was the best of the best when i bought it). When I got the new computer i didn't get a new printer b/c i was afraid i'd not be happy with whatever i got. Then when i got into digital scrapping, i realized I want a wide/large format so I can print them 12X12. So what do you use? Do you like it? Pros/Cons? Anybody I've done some looking around and i've found the epson 1400 and the canon i9900...anybody have either of those? TYVMIA Get a taste of religion...lick a witch

Scissor Suggestions

Some time ago (don't remember how long) there was a thread about scissors. Best brand, why you liked or disliked ... recommend...etc. I remember seeing this information so I went through 5 pages of threads before giving up. (Man there are a lot of buried threads.) Is there any way to warn sellers to avoid a bidder? I just got 27 negs from someone who dished out a bunch of lies in the negs, etc. etc. Ebay will not remove the negs even though I can prove some of them are outright LIES based on messages she sent me thru Ebay Messages. Claimed she spent THOUSANDS with me, always paid (Yea, almost a month later after we practically groveled for payment). We were stupid enuf to put up with this for months and months and when we finally had enuf this is what happened. Let's list the initials for our selling group and a word or two about the type of items you sell in your group. (For example: altered items, paper piecing, page layouts, tags, tear bears or packaged products, etc.) Do a cut and paste so we keep all the group initials on one page. One set of initials per group, please. It will be fun to see how many groups are out there as ebay doesn't list them any place that I know of.

Need some advice regarding scrapbooking

Hi everyone! I recently was searching for angel buttons. I did a search in "all categories". I found some that I liked and bought all five lots. They buttons are very cute and arrived very fast. The all came in zip lock bags and one I opened I noticed that they did not have any shanks. So...no big deal, I thought, I will just email the seller and get this fixed. I start getting the third degree about these (mind you this was only ONE lot of five and only $2.25). Her questioning me surprised me. I said that I was happy to return them, as they seemed to be damaged to me. That apparently set her off. She said there was a BIG difference between "damaged" and no shanks. I just was not getting it. I asked her to pay the return shipping and either replace or refund if she did not have any more. (here is where the scrapbooking part comes in): She replied that these were sold ad scrapbooking "buttons", that the shanks were supposed to be removed, and that she said that she would decide if they were undamaged AFTER she saw them...that she packed them personally and that she didn't believe that the shanks were not there when I got them... WOW!!!!! Is that true? I didn't realize that I bought a scrapbooking-only product. If you bought buttons with shanks and you got them without the shanks, would that be a NON issue? In 12 years on ebay (I have more than one ID)...this is the first time I ever got anything like this from ANY seller. I have decided to just let Paypal handle this (and I am still happy to return these, but she has created serious mistrust that she will refund appropriately). I do not do scrapbooking and cannot use "buttons" that have no way to be used as buttons.

Hello Everyone, I have created an altered card tin for a silent auction that raises money for two charities: Share the Spirit Holiday Program and Sponsor a Family Program. I have already created about 15 cards and am planning on including some blank cards along with some supplies so they can create their own cards. I need help with what to include? I was thinking: buttons, Prima flowers, ribbon, but am stuck with what else. I am also planning on cutting some die cuts; but stuck with what types/shapes? SVG LAYERS

SCAL (sure cuts a lot) has just been upgraded to SCAL 2 which will allow you to ungroup your svg files as long as they are created in a "SVG LAYER" format.....this is so cool!! It also allows you to create layers in the scal program for making board books. I just bought the up-grade from craftedge and I am so excited!!!! A tutorial for ungrouping is on the blog....but you have to use a SVG LAYER file in order for the ungroup option to work. www.myscrapchick.blogspot.com
