I have a quick question about ai files. I design patterns in svg files and post them for free on my blog. I had a lady ask if I could also make ai files for my patterns. My question is. Do I have to have adobe illustrator to save the files in ai. Or are there any other (cheaper) programs that allow me to save in ai format. Thanks.
