MARINELLA TIES

This is a guide to the Marinella ties based on my experience of seller. I sell tiessince 10 years and I sold over 40000 ties until now.
Marinellastore born in 1914 in Naples, city with great tailors traditions, here we found great clothing manufacturer like Kiton, Borrelli, Barba and others. The historical shop is still today in Vittoria place.
Marinella ties are in English style with little pictures.The back side is made with same material of ties (self tiped) and many ties are seven fold. This is a particular closure method.Silk properties is low shining. You can recognize a Marinella also by padding, thickest than a normal tie.
Across the years the ties characteristics changed and also the brand labels.
The labels are always seam on the back right on the bias. The first labelsthat we know,were made in50's, also these were seam on the backlike today labels.
These labelswere wrote in cursive letters and under the name "Marinella" there was the name of the city: Napoli or Naples.
From 1960 until 80's, label was write in capital letters with the name of the city in Italian or English, so we will found MARINELLA NAPOLI or MARINELLA NAPLES without the initial letter E. used in the past years. Thatis the initial of the founders Eugenio.

After the 80's the label was write again in cursive letters with the initial E.
The labels are always seam with four stitch on the corners
