Florida YOM license plates

I have noticed lately that everyone wants to advertise their old FL tag as "YOM clear" or "ok for registration". The fact of the matter is, there are strict guidelines to follow when considering a plate.Ask yourself these questions:1. Is the plate/car AT LEAST 25 years old? If not, it cannot be registered Under YOM laws. 2. What condition is the plate in? I have heard horror stories from people I know about this.
