How To Print A USPS Scan Form Using Paypal

For those who do not know whata scan form is, a scan form is a piece of paper you can present to your postal carrier to have scanned in when he or she accepts the package. It is to help start the tracking process of your package from your location to your buyers location.
Normally with Delivery Confirmation from USPS the item is only scanned when the item is delivered (not at any other point of the travel() - hence the name "Delivery Confirmation"
Here is how you do it:
After the buyer has paid for the item and the payment is cleared log into your Paypal account.
Once you are in your Paypal account, you will need to access multi-order shipping. There are two ways to access this feature:
The first way is to view the details of the payment for which you need to print the label and the scan sheet. (You can do this by clicking onto the details link from your summary page next to the item you need to ship - do not click on print shipping label)
When you are viewing the details scroll down to the shipping area and click on "Launch Paypal multi-order shipping":
The other way to get into Paypal Multi-order shipping is from your main summary page within Paypal. .Underneath Tools on the left collum click onto Paypal MultiOrder Shipping. (Either way will take you to the same place).

Click on each item that appears under the tab marked "Orders to ship" and choose the shipping method and the weight of the item. When the left column turns green for each item, then it is ready to have a label printed.
When all the items you want to ship are green in the left column under the checkmark, then click on the print link in the upper left hand corner.

You will then see a screen that includes the following information below.

Make sure you have chosen the correct date that you will be handing the packages to your postal carrier. I have had a postal carrier refuse a package because the date was not the date I handed it to him. The date box is on the right hand side of the area that the screenshot is from, unfortunately the screen shot cut off the date drop down.
When everything is correct click on the print option with the green printer (see where it is located ina screen shot above).

The above screen will open in a new window. BEFORE you click onto print label (the number to the right of the phrase print label will be the actual number of labels you will be printing). YOU MUST click on print scan form. If you print the label(s) first you will not be given a chance to print the scan form afterwards. So please print the scan form first then the labels.
If a buyer pays you via a check or money order, even if you click onto the Import button on 4th screenshot from the top of this guide, Paypal MultiOrder shipping does not pick up these items and they can not be included in a scan form. From what I have read on the Paypal site they are suppose to be imported, but for me at least that does not work.
Extra tip: If for some reason one of the labels had a mistake on it and you request a refund on that label - DO NOT GIVE THIS SCAN FORM TO THE POSTAL CARRIER. If you do void a label and have given this scan form to the postal carrier you might not be able to get your money back for the postage of that label.
